Jeanette - thanks for bringing this to the forum. A fascinating insight into horses in Victorian Lomdon.

Hello everyone.

I'm new to the world of driving but I'm enjoying every bit and am here to stay. I have been looking for information about driving on the web and came across this on-line book. There are some fascinating stats in it as well as some information about how the horses were procured, used, worked and (more morbidly) eventually disposed of.

There are some pictures too. If you haven't already come across this, I recommend it. If anyone has a complete (and inexpensive) copy for sale I would be interested in having it.
