Given that our entries are slightly lower than usual, we will be accepting late phone entries up until Saturday lunchtime.
I have been contacted by a local photographer who wants to come along & take some photos of the action on the day (which will of course be on sale afterwards!). He is a regular contributor to Central Horse News and so may submit some examples for a future publication. In the event that you do NOT wish to be photographed, please would you let us know beforehand.
Lastly, we will be having an alternative money-raiser on the day. We have a Sony portable DVD player (DVP-FX810), brand new in box, that we will be holding a silent-auction for. I believe that its retail value is approximately £100, and so generous offers please! There will be a sheet of paper in the viewing gallery where interested parties can bid up against each other throughout the day, and the highest offer made by the end of the day will be the winner.
Thank you all for bearing with us last weekend...we have been assured that we WILL have the usual officials from Head Office with us this Sunday (barring any more motorway breakdown disasters!). Rosettes from last week's competition will be available on Sunday (or will be posted on to those who are not present).
