Liz, presenter of Blue Peter went to Minta Winn for an intensive day's tuition of carriage driving. Two days later Liz with Minta on the backstep competed at Limes Farm in the South East and came 9th in a very large Novice Pony class. The camera crew were with her all the time plus various camera's wobbling about on the vehicle. The results were on Blue Peter last Friday, )giving lots of publicity to our great sport and sponsor.) Not bad for a total Novice. Liz has been throughly hooked and is threathening to take up the sport. Many thanks to Minta for her input and courage (Liz went in the water at Dounhurst flat out!) in this production. | ||

Apparently carriage driving featured on Blue Peter on Friday 12th Feb. My son's elderly "townie" neighbour spotted an Indoor Carriage Driving Van - anyone got any more information? |
