Thank you all for taking the time to write about the Finals, we are very happy that everyone enjoyed the weekend. From our point of veiw it is a long and exhausting winter with so many events every weekend, and the finals are very tiring, especially with the build up the week before, but all your happy, smiling faces make it all worth while. We hope to see everyone next winter. BUT our work is not yet done! oh yes we run out door events as well. Remember to enter Normanhurst Horse Driving Trials, July 31 - August 1. There are Club classes as well as National qualifiers for Windsor finals. Next year, 2005 - we are taking over Brighton HDT as well!!!!!! and yes we do need help, can you steward for us if you are not competeing, please do not be shy, drop me a line, it will be very welcome. A thousand thanks for a wonderful weekend from Heather, Colin and 'Prince' to all the Indoor Driving Hardworking Team, especially Rob who spent hours getting us all into the area so smoothly - and all the time wearing a hugh smile. I must say mine matched it buy the end of Sunday! | ||

I too would like to add my thanks to the team for a great weekend, it would be so nice if all the other diciplines in driving could deal with the hicupps and grumbles that come by way of competition, as well as the indoor team do.! Its my one weekend of ME competeing, during the year, so its really great to enjoy it so much with you all. thanks again guys and Rita! Special announcement if anyone herars me saying YES in the hearing of Dick Carey, I really mean NO..... NO I am not doing the team event, no I can't teach someone to drive.... Thank you, all the Indoor HDT team, for a good-humoured event with plenty of challenges for all classes and in all sections. I enjoyed it: great competition, super obstacles and lively atmosphere. You are bringing lots of people, especially juniors, into the sport, too: a fact often overlooked yet vital to its future. A great way to spend the weekend - all thanks to your hard work! |
