Hi Steph,
I may be able to help you here. Don't know if you know, but we fought a very long and hard battle with our Planning Committee a few years back. We eventually won after 2 Appeals. Similar sort of queries to yours cropped up ( along with half a million others! ) Email me and I can give you more details. If you contact Linda Rose- she has my contact details. I'd rather not publish my email address on a Forum- you never know if any weirdos are monitering it!!!

Please could someone tell me the required number of people to look after 10 ponies that are stabled at night and out during the day. The reason I ask is because my local council think that it does not require a full time worker merely a part timer however they do not say how many hours they class as part time. It takes me 3 1/2 hours a day just to muck out and another 1 1/2 hours to bed down let alone groom, exercise, poo pick the fields. So if anyone knows what the BHS recommend it would be helpful. thanks steph nuttall
