I use it too, great stuff! Also very useful for laminitics as magnesium is the basic ingredient in most laminitic supplements, and it is very cheap. I also use Equine americas So kalm Plus on a highly excitable (bordering on insane!) mare. Very good at getting anxious/ excited horses to eat at shows and takes nothing off the competitive edge. jem |

Come on. Where has everybody gone? It's these light nights. Everyone's out playing with their nags then too kna...red to start debating on-line! What does anyone think about the use of Calmers for horses and do you have a recommended one? Always been very sceptical of them until we tried "magnitude" ( think it's by Equine America) Can't believe the effect it's had on a wound-up Welsh Cob! Doesn't cost the earth either like a lot of them do. It's basically magnesium in powder form but by gum it works! |
