I use it too, great stuff! Also very useful for laminitics as magnesium is the basic ingredient in most laminitic supplements, and it is very cheap. I also use Equine americas So kalm Plus on a highly excitable (bordering on insane!) mare. Very good at getting anxious/ excited horses to eat at shows and takes nothing off the competitive edge.

Come on. Where has everybody gone? It's these light nights. Everyone's out playing with their nags then too kna...red to start debating on-line! What does anyone think about the use of Calmers for horses and do you have a recommended one?
Always been very sceptical of them until we tried "magnitude" ( think it's by Equine America) Can't believe the effect it's had on a wound-up Welsh Cob! Doesn't cost the earth either like a lot of them do. It's basically magnesium in powder form but by gum it works!
