Hi, Joe, if you mean indoor, we all do the same test which you can find on this site (see Home, then Indoor Driving column, third item, Precision and Paces test): if you mean outdoor, it depends on your local club and you'd usually start in a class called pre-novice. Do get in touch with your local friendly organiser/club secretary to confirm beforehand or you might spend ages learning the wrong test! (Most of the outdoor tests used by clubs are on the BHDTA site, www.horsedrivingtrials.co.uk) Hope this helps! p.s. (I am a literalist); if your horse is 14.2 (149 cms or under with shoes), he's a pony! |

Sadly Thames Valley area could not find a suitable venue that could run right through the winter season. Only three dates were available at BCA and all within 5 weeks. So no Thames Valley area this year unless someone knows of a suitable venue that is available for at least four events throughout the winter, and does not cost an arm and a leg! The YEARBOOK will be available at and after our event at Normanhurst 29 - 30 August for fully paid up members for 2009 - 2010 season.

I have just been looking through the on-line yearbook and there is no mention of the Thames Valley events. Did I miss something? |

Very soon, Yearbook going to print as I write. Full details available to members on renewal of membership that can be done on-line with a credit card or print membership form and post with your cheque or postal order. Early membership renewal does save me many headaches!! Rita |
