IHDTC Precision & Paces Test 10, arena size 50m x 20m. Judges: Claire Bourne and John Parker.

DIRECTIONS to Orwell Arena (under 10 minutes from the A14) Look out for HDT signs!

At the junction of the A12/A14 dual carriageway, where the A12 heads north for Lowestoft and the A14 heads east for Felixstowe, take the A1156 south for about 300m, then turn VERY SHARP LEFT.

This becomes the old A45 dual carriageway. Continue for about half a mile then turn first RIGHT across the carriageway and over a hump-back bridge over the railway, Bridge Road.

Turn LEFT about 200m after the bridge between neat grass verge and clipped hedges. Follow the single track between some buildings and keep going along the track until you get to the Orwell Arena parking area.

Please park prettily because there’s only a smallish area.

NOTICE:

The outdoor arena is available for warming up – please look out for ridden horses – and is opposite the entrance to the indoor arena, which is at the further end of the parking area.

Loos are on the far side of the indoor arena.

Please take your rubbish var/www with you.

The small café will be open for tea, coffee, light refreshments and snacks, but not all day – please support it!

Looking forward to a great day!

Regards,
Fiona
