Yes, it's very exciting, planning for your first event! We want you to join in and enjoy indoor driving as much as we all do. If you have never competed in British Carriagedriving affiliated driving trials before (indoors or outside), please contact your local indoor event organiser and ask for a safety assessment before you plan to go to your first event. A safety assessment is just that. It's free (although you may have to pay a trainer for their time/travel). It's painless and you can pick up some useful tips, however experienced a driver you are. Most of the assessment is about how you do things in public: what you do at var/www is not the issue, we just need to be sure that you follow safe practices when you are at an event.
