British Indoor Carriage Driving Championships 19-21 April 2024 at Arena UK, NG32 2EF

We look forward to welcoming you to Arena UK in this our 26th year of the Indoor Championships. Entry fees have been reduced to £50 and a number of improvements have been made which we hope will contribute to your enjoyment of the event, whether as a competitor, supporter, sponsor, or volunteer.

Class / Day - Timetable

In response to the feedback we received, we have changed the timetable around so that the Supreme Champion is the last presentation of the competition, see the table below.

Precision & Paces tests

There is an amended P&P test for all the open, multiples and intermediate and veteran classes. This is the 2023-24 season qualifier test with some paces changed. The two movements with circles are now in collected trot and the diagonal is in extended trot.

All novice classes will drive the same ICD 2023-24 test that has been used throughout this winter season at qualifying events:

Obstacles

The obstacles will be built in the main arena and available to walk from Friday morning and will remain unchanged for the whole event. This means all the competitors will learn the same 2 obstacles, driven twice for every class.

Stabling and electric hook-ups can be booked directly with Arena UK here. See pricing in the ICD event schedule. There are plenty of stables available. If stabling is used, one stable must be booked for each horse and for each pony over 11 hands: two small ponies may share one stable, provided they are 11 hands or under and normally live together and their welfare is not compromised.

Electric fencing, pens, gazebos, hurdles and any forms of corral are not permitted: these are Arena UK's rules and for everyone's safety and welfare of the horses.
